Query and remote control of the scales via external control devices or computer using KERN Communication Protocol (KCP). KCP is a
standardised interface command set for KERN scales and other instruments, permitting all relevant parameters and device functions to be queried and controlled. Through this, KERN devices with KCP can be connected easily to computers, industrial controllers and other digital systems. Large parts of the KCP protocol are compatible with the MT-SICS protocol
